The Leica M3 is the first Leica rangefinder camera with a Leica M mount. The camera was a big change up from their earlier LTM models. The rangefinder is very accurate and a true pleasure to work with with a 50mm lens. The camera also features 90 and 135mm framelines. Shutterspeeds go from 1s to 1/1000s. There is a built in, automatically resetting, framecounter and a selftimer as well. A true film classic!
This Leica M3 kit comes in a good condition. The camera shows some regular marks on the topplate, probably from use with the Leica Meter. Bottom plate shows some regular scratches and tripod mounting marks. The leatherette is in good condition and fully intact. There is a light haze in the lens, we choose to not get that removed regarding the costs and only every so light improvement that would have. The camera however was fully serviced by our friend Alan from Amsterdam Camera Repairs. The camera was fully overhauled and parts were replaced where needed. Moving parts were lubricated and the rangefinder was alligned. Shutterspeeds have been calibrated and that makes this camera the perfect user kit if you are looking to get into Leica M film photography! Comes with a 3m warranty and front cap.
